Tribulus Terrestris is the latin name for what is commonly known as, Puncture Vine, Goat Head, Devil’s Weed, Biindi and Tackweed. It is an invasive species of ground cover. It is considered a noxious weed in both Australia and the USA. It is widely used to enhance sexual desire in both men and women.
Body builders often use it during the cycle of anabolic steroids to assist with the restoration of testosterone levels. It has a variety of uses including the treatment of erectile dysfunction, but it is mainly used by athletes to increase strength and muscle mass. It is thought to be useful in the treatment of cardiovascular conditions such as angina, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, anemia and poor circulation.
